A Joyful Start
As they say, time flies when you’re having fun and we sure feel that! It is hard to believe that we are approaching the one month mark since the first day of school! The first weeks are always such a special time—and this year has been no different! Our classrooms and hallways are filled with energy as students settle into new routines, meet new friends, and take on the exciting challenges that come with a fresh start. Each day is filled with the sounds of learning, prayer and teamwork as our students, teachers and staff work together to create a supportive and faith-filled environment.
One of the highlights of these early days was welcoming some special guests who came in to read with our students. The kids loved it—there’s just something wonderful about listening to a story together, laughing at funny parts, and seeing books come to life. Another strong point of this year so far was our all school Rosary. Coming together to lift up others in prayer unites us and is such a special way for us to actively live out our faith. Those moments made the school feel even more connected and joyful.
Of course, these first weeks are also about finding our rhythm. Students are learning what it means to step into new roles. Whether it’s being the “big kid” in their hallway, taking on leadership in the classroom, or simply adjusting to new expectations. It’s been beautiful to watch them rise to the occasion with so much enthusiasm. To watch our school community quickly embrace their new roles and responsibilities is inspiring and it shows we are eager to make this school year a great one.
Most of all, the energy in the building is contagious. You can feel the excitement for all the learning, faith, and fun that’s ahead this year. We are grateful to God for guiding our school family through this happy beginning, and we look forward to all the ways He will bless our students and staff in the months ahead.
